ABOUT US

We combine our expertise from hand hygiene and VR.

The team at the Clinic for Hospital Hygiene and Infection Prevention at the University Hospital Zurich provides its expertise in the field of hospital hygiene.

Ateo has been developing VR products and training simulators with a focus on gamification for an optimal learning effect since 2013.

Together we want to improve patient safety with ViRTUE.

History of the development

2018 ViRTUE was launched.

Developed at the University Hospital Zurich under the direction of

Prof. Dr. med. Hugo Sax

In 2019 ViRTUE was newly implemented by the digital agency Ateo.

With the developed germ system, 3 types of germs can be precisely transferred to surfaces. The hospital environment is modeled in detail.

2022 ViRTUE was used as a training tool.

First-year medical students at the University of Zurich complete their training with ViRTUE.

2023 ViRTUE is available for everyone.

The replay system is integrated. New functions for ViRTUE are in development.
